You can take the Baritone out of America...

I met a Baritone today from Michigan. He is 40 years old but he tells everyone he is 35 (I didn´t warrent the lie apparently). He likes to talk about....himself. how great he is. Where he has sung. He managed to interrupt himself long enough to ask where I was from. Canada? WELL! He was going to sing in Canada. he heard that we didn´t have a good music scene. He heard that our money was worth so little that if he were to work there it isn´t even worth transferring it back into Euros. Bla bla BLA! Now I remember why I don´t like spending time with singers.

My first agent audition was today. I sang really well. They did not use one word of English the entire time. When they talked to me I asked them to slow down please and they did not. I can understand a lot of German, but I need the person the want to be understood - to speak clearly and use simple words.

After it I went to H&M for some shopping. I actually had a SPREE. I have not had a spree since last Boxing Day at Ricki´s wher eI bought all the tanktops I am wearing now. The store is clearing out their summer clothes. They are 70% off the lowest price and if you buy one thing you get a similar thing free. The best 20$ I ever spent. I bought: 2 Undies, 1 sunglasses, 2 tank tops, 2 shirts, 4 skirts, 1 fancy shirt. I misplaced my black movie star hat and no one could find it at any of the stores (on the main street here there are 3 H&Ms) so tomorrow I have to go back. I loved that hat, it better show itself!

My new hotel, the Manhattan hotel, is clean and new-looking. I can´t wait to lie in bed and watch MTV. That is the only decent channel!

That is all. I bought some grapes (trauben) and I need to figure up how to wrap up some of the clothes to mail them.. stupid bag is too heavy, and it is not holding up as well as I would expected. There was the PARIS SUBWAY INCIDENT 2 days ago where the sliding door closed on the bag and would not open until someone came along with a subway token. Poor bag!
